Genius Wefts are ultra-thin, hand-tied style wefts with no return hair (“beards”), making them more comfortable and less bulky. They lay flat against the scalp and can be cut anywhere along the seam without unraveling—ideal for custom, seamless installs.

 

2. How many wefts come in one bundle?

Each bundle includes 3 individual wefts and weighs a total of 60 grams. The hair is full from root to tip, providing beautiful volume with a lightweight feel.

 

 

3. How many bundles do I need for a full install?

• 2 bundles (120 grams) for fine to medium-density hair or a natural look

• 3+ bundles (180+ grams) for thick hair or maximum volume and length

Your stylist will determine the perfect amount based on your hair texture and desired outcome.

2. Can Genius Wefts be cut?

Yes! Unlike traditional hand-tied wefts, Genius Wefts can be safely cut without shedding or unraveling. This makes them ideal for customized installs and layering.

 

4. How long do Genius Wefts last?

With proper care and maintenance, our Genius Wefts can last 9–12 months or longer. The longevity depends on installation methods, how often they’re worn, and how well they’re maintained between appointments.

 

5. Are Genius Wefts reusable?

Yes, they are 100% reusable. As long as the hair is properly cared for, Genius Wefts can be reinstalled multiple times, making them a great investment for both stylists and clients.

 

6. What type of hair do you use?

Our Genius Wefts are made with 100% Remy human hair, ethically sourced and cuticle-aligned to reduce tangling and maintain softness, shine, and durability.

 

7. Can Genius Wefts be colored or toned?

Yes, the hair can be professionally toned or colored up to one level darker. We do not recommend bleaching or lightening, as this may compromise the integrity of the hair.

 

8. How many bundles are needed for a full install?

For a full install, we typically recommend:

• 2 bundles for fine to medium density

• 3+ bundles for thick or extra-long looks

Your stylist will help determine the exact amount based on your desired fullness and length.

 

9. Can Genius Wefts be heat styled?

Yes! Since our wefts are 100% human hair, they can be curled, straightened, or waved using hot tools. We recommend using a heat protectant to preserve the hair’s integrity.

 

10. How should I care for my Genius Wefts?

To keep your extensions looking their best:

• Use sulfate-free, extension-safe products

• Brush gently with an extension-friendly brush

• Avoid sleeping with wet hair

• Use a silk or satin pillowcase or bonnet
